Job description

Main Purpose of role:

Supporting the UK Sales Controller in the development, coordination, and execution of strategies for larger national accounts, whilst managing your own smaller national accounts.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for managing smaller accounts, such as Morrisons and Pets Corner, with guidance from the UK Sales Controller.
  • Provide support to the UK Sales team in managing larger accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the efficient delivery of products and services while maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and performance data.
  • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts using key account data.
  • Address client inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Creating and managing strong relationships with clients.
  • Monitoring sales data, client interactions, and overall performance to provide updates to the UK Sales Controller.
  • Assisting in the development of sales presentations and proposals.
  • To gain and maintain a strong working knowledge of industry trends, products and services.

All company quality policies, procedures and ways of working including those required by law must be adhered to at all times.

Should you become aware of a quality defect in any raw material, product or packaging, you must immediately report it to your supervisor, the Technical Manager or other senior manager, filling in any forms required.

Qualifications/Knowledge & Skills:
(Essential)

Basic Excel Skills.

Basic Mathematic Skills.

Commercial Acumen and understanding.

Drive to succeed and deliver, large potential for growth within role.

 

 

 

(Desirable)

1+ Years Experience in commercial/sales roles including managing P&L of accounts and projects.
