Burgess Excel Long Stem with Marigold Feeding Hay isn’t just tasty… It’s an essential part of your rabbit’s health & happiness. The long stems encourage natural chewing that keeps teeth healthy, while high fibre supports great digestion. With added marigold for extra flavour, it also stimulates natural foraging behaviour, keeping mealtimes enriching and fun. Fresh, fragrant, and 100% natural, it’s a daily must-have for a balanced diet.

  • Dust extracted for respiratory health
  • Encourages foraging & provides emotional enrichment
  • Its fresh fragrance is irresistible to rabbits

Remember, good quality feeding hay and/or grass should make up 85%-90% of your rabbit’s diet and should be available to them at all times. Have a look at our Excel Feeding Plan for rabbits to ensure your pet is getting the correct balance of fibre, vitamins, and minerals.

Alongside good-quality feeding hay, they should also be fed a small portion of Excel rabbit nuggets, the occasional Excel Nature Snack, and a small amount of leafy greens each day. And, of course, fresh, clean water should always be available.

Always monitor your rabbit’s weight to ensure they are staying healthy & happy. If you are ever unsure, seek veterinary advice. Or, have a read through our rabbit care guides.

🐹✨ The 5 Pillars of Guinea Pig Enrichment 🐾

As loving guinea pig owners, it's essential to ensure our furry friends are happy and stimulated! Here’s how you can enrich their lives:

1️⃣ Social: Guinea pigs are herd animals and thrive on companionship. Consider housing them in bonded pairs or groups and facilitate supervised interactions to nurture their social needs.

2️⃣ Physical: Encourage movement to keep them healthy! Provide a spacious enclosure, safe floor time, and fun tunnels for them to run through.

3️⃣ Sensory: Stimulate their senses with a variety of textures, safe herbs, and by changing their cage layout regularly. This keeps their environment exciting!

4️⃣ Nutritional: Make mealtime an adventure! Hide food in hay, use puzzle feeders, or scatter forage to engage them during snack time.

5️⃣ Cognitive: Challenge their minds to prevent boredom! Use foraging toys, teach them simple tricks, or introduce new safe objects for exploration.

Let’s keep our guinea pigs happy and healthy! 💖 #GuineaPigLove #PetCare #SmallAnimalEnrichment #CavyCare #FurryFriends
